In this research we use quantitative method. The purpose of research is to know about
- Difference of achievement on studying fragment between students which taught with recitation method and traditional method
- Difference of achievement on studying fragment which observed from student’s learning interest
- Relation between teaching method and student’s learning interest to the achievement on studying fragment
Population of this research is students in VII SMP 2 Temanggung class at 2008/2009. Sample in research is 2 class, VII A as experiment group and VII B as control group. Each class, we taken 30 student. In determine of sample, we use sampling random technique. The data in research, we collect with principal method that is experiment, questionnaire, test, and documentation as aid method.
The experiment used to get the data with teach, then evaluated which the yield collected to the data. The questionnaire used to get the data about student’s learning interest. The test used to get the data about student’s achievement on studying fragment. The documentation used to get the data of school and students identity. The question or test and questionnaire as research instrument must tried in validation and reliability. The try of validation test and questionnaire use moment product correlation formula. The try of reliability test and questionnaire use alpha formula. The data analysis technique which used in research is difference cell 2 way variant analysis. The try of prerequisite which used is try-Z to try balance of experiment group and control group. Lilliefors method to try normality and Bantlett method to try homogeneity.
